Multiple cookie threats that never go away?

It seems EVERY TIME I scan for spyware I get like 50 + cookies that come back as a threat. I dont visit any sites that are cesspools for viruses (porn, exc.). How do I prevent these cookies from being stored? I cant turn off cookies all together for the obvious reasons of not being able to surf many sites. So how can I prevent them from being stored?

I use IE7. Also I cant do that because I am a member of over 30 forums. Imagine having to enter in your user name and password 30 times a day. :S:S:S

firefox has integrated password management, so you wont HAVE to rely on cookies for that

when i come here, all i do is click where it says 'user name' and my user name as password are filled out for me

In IE7 you can try turning up the Cookie filter. Im not sure if Firefox has a similar option, but I'd imagine they would.

@heyman, check your PM :P
