Multiple Display

Hey, i'm wondering is there any multiple display program that is better than the one provided with the Nvidia 7900GS card I bought? Because with the Nvidia program it only gives me a few options, Span Display and Clone Display. I'm wondering if there is a program out there that allows me to use two monitors as two separate displays.(Um like one normal monitor with task bar and all, then another with the same but still separate.) So i could have one Game on full screen on one of the monitors and still be talking on msn on the other. Then if I want to switch the mouse cursor from one display to the other I just press a Key and it does it...

Hopefully this wasn't too confuseing sorry if it was, Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

No, I doubt that there is better program than the one installed with the drivers, but you should be able to have to separate displays. Go Desktop>Properties>Display Settings and deselect "expand my desktop onto this montior", which should allow you to have two independent monitors.

Were would these display settings be under? Because I can't find the option in Desktop>Properties>Display Settings

If you have two monitors attached, and they both show up under display settings (there are two boxes numbered 1 and 2) if you select the second box, there should be two options to check either "this is my main monitor" or "expand the desktop onto this monitor".

actually, there is software that will give you a taskbar on each monitor, its called ultramon. it will have whatever applications are open on each monitor show in the monitor's taskbar. you may want to check it out, its pretty cool
