Music on Flash Drive?

I want to download some music, but i dont want to make my computer slower than it already is. If i download them to my flash drive, will it not make my comp slower>

I'm taking that you have permission on your music your downloading
so: No downloading the music to your external Flash Drive will not slow
your computer down. It's only if you keep the music files saved onto your
computer, it will decrease the speed.
