MW2 is the first online fps ive ever really played. I have played other fbs, but never online. For ever 2 kills I get I die 10x Ive only been playing for about 2 hours and I'm level 7..yeah its that bad. I'm losing enjoyment form the online play because Im just getting beat all the time. My team cant ever win cuz I die to much. I don't have to be great at the game or anything. I just want to be avg and stop letting my team down. Can anyone help me?

Hmm well im not exactly sure how how easy MW2 is to play on a console,Id imagine its quite hard and slow.....hence why i love PC gaming (mouse FTW) :P

Anyway...it just takes practice my friend,Instead of jumping straight into multiplayer why not play all the singleplayer first on easy to get used to the game?

Thats all i can think of to be honest...MW2 online is quite fast paced, especially Domination game mode.

practise, practise and a little bit more practise, that is the only way :)

There are no guides, no videos, no tutorials, nothing that can make you better because it is all to do with reaction to stuff happening and precision of aiming, it all comes with time played

Play single player first, you can practice on higher difficulties before moving to multiplayer. I tried playing mw2 on my friends xbox and it was just fail, I couldn't aim for my life.

Work with you team the best you can, and approach it just as you would if it was your own life (aka: Rambo in todays world would be just the first guy to die, not a hero).

How I've found the most success in COD is to play fairly guerrilla style. Of course, it also took quite a few hours of playing to get used to the guns and the controls and how to aim them. So, if you really want to play online, try to stay out of the fray as much as possible, stay moving, and don't run out into open spaces. But ideally, do as others have suggested and play some of the single player. You won't be able to get used to the MP maps very much at first, but that's for later once you've mastered the weapons and game mechanics.
