MX Revolution Problem

I have tried contacting logitech about this but have not gotten a response so maybe someone here can help me. When I run a game the logitech software doesnt detect it and swap mouse profiles so I can use all the buttons properly, I have tried turning of game recognition but I still cant use the mouse properly. I cant use the middle mouse button or the side buttons. Does anyone know if I can fix this problem? Thanks.

Hmm....I have kinda the same issue but it doesn't bug me enough (Like COD4 when you can press middle button to throw grenade back - it doesn't do that).

By middle button, do you mean scroll wheel? I have the VX revolution and when I actually press it down, it is fine. Mostly I just end up scrolling though.

it works fine when im just using windows or surfing the net just not when playing games. I think it has something to do with the Logitech setpoint software.

It is a bit of a PIA. Have you tried playing with it? I haven't really.

Yeah i've messed around with it a bit but cant seem to fgure out the problem and Logitech still hasnt replyd to my email

so logitech finaly answer my question but it didnt help, they told me to download the latest software but thats the first thing I did. Does anyone have any ideas?

I was playing with my settings today and I'm pretty sure I got it. Are you sure your settings look like this?

i altered my settings, i dont click the bottom 3 on the right. i will give it a try though

messed around with the settings but still no luck. maybe there is something wrong with my mouse....

hi, i am new aroun d here. problem is i have a acer laptop with windows vista. The laptop does not have a serial port and i need to connect a microcontroller programmer to it which has only a serial port cable. How do i do it?
