My whole issue is about the RAM, I just want a motherboard that is compatible with DDR3 RAM, for future upgrading.
The motherboard indeed is not time tested, but not many DDR3 compatible boards are. That is a risk I am willing to take.
If you really want to utilize DDR3 RAM I wouldn't go with a Socket 775 motherboard then. Go with a Socket 1366 motherboard with an i7 Processor. If you want a Socket 775 you might as well go with DDR2 memory because Socket 775 won't be able to fully utilize DDR3 RAM speeds.
