My 2nd game, what to buy?

Okay So I got my 360 at the start of the year. Did have Left 4 dead, absolutley sucked at it with the controller so got pi$$ed and sold it :rolleyes:

My only options are to pick up an XFPS adaptor for like £50, which has some problems. Or LEARN!

Anyway, my only game right now is Forza 3 & I really want a new one!

Which should I pick up?

My budget is £30 & I'll be ordering from Game or Play.

I'm open to anything :)

Mass Effect. (the original one, 2 is more than 30 pounds I think) Halo 3 is nice to play too. (ofc, if you like the game)
Played Borderlands quite a bit myself too, also a good game imo.

Thats the problem imo with going from PC gaming to Console....FPS games suck on consoles!

Thought about getting GTA IV and the expansions or whatever they call them?

I hated FPS gaming on the console when I switched but since then have learned to adapt after a few months. The toughest part was teaching my thumbs to move independently from one another which is tough at first but you get the hang of it after a while. Has anyone ever use one of those xfps adapters? Im curious to know if they work alright.

When you have built in auto-aim feature it is pretty clear they lack on FPS because they have to cheat it to make it playable. Now don't go saying there isn't because I seen enough of it playing my cousins 360 :p

I would vote for Mass Effect....while the AI makes stupid people look smart the game is rather fun and if you buy it used can get it rather cheap :p

I've never played the first Mass Effect but right now i'm playing Mass Effect 2 and i really like it so far.

I bought it pretty cheap new (20$ CAD, which is, in my opinion, cheap)

You aim down sites, it goes straight to their face or body, and it is online. When I first played CoD4 and MW2, it was on my friends xbox and you keep going in and out of sites and you never go off them, on OR offline

I have NEVER seen a snap to feature in multiplayer on cod4 or mw2. My aim sucks way to bad for that to be the case. Maybe you were just better at aiming than you thought :p

lol, no, that clearly isn't true, I am crap at fps games on console, hence why I never buy them :p

If you don't enjoy FPS on console, I wouldn't try to force yourself unless your friends play. I would just stick to sports/racing/action games...

I didn't force myself, I played for fun, that is why you go and see friends, to socialise and have fun. I wasn't there to be good at it, just have a laugh
