My 3DMark scores....

Hi,
Here are my new scores fter i ran 3DMark 05:

3DMark 03- 8730

3DMark 05 - 2939

What are these scores like?
 
i would expect you to be getting at least 500 points more in 3dmark05.
why your scores are that low i couldn't. it could be temp related, either cpu or gpu. also, there might be additional processes going on in the background.
make sure you have all of the latest drivers on your system and not the ones that came on your system disks
 
My 6800GT got 4545, so yeah, I would expect along the lines of 3000... Your specs are fine, don't know where else to look. As others suggested, drivers might be a problem. I guess also check to be sure everything is running it's top speed. Mobo's usally set this automatically, but be sure everything is correct in the bios...
 
The computer in my sig has the same GPU as helmie's PC and I get around 4K in 3DMark05. The only thing that I may have better then helmie is my CPU, I think.
 
My XFX 6600gt in 03 is low 9ks, i never did it in 05 so i could not help you there but your 03 score looks about right.
 
Well, i ended a few processes, and came up with new scores:

3DMark 03 - 8891

3DMark 05 - 3676

That better?
 
For my system, what drivers would I need to get? I have the 8856 driver for the graphic card, is that good enough? As for mobo, are you talking about BIOS? I don't see any driver in the ASUS website. As for Sound card, I don't know what new driver they got...
