Hello. I have a 450w antec psu... its about a year old...

anywho, the inside of my comp is a REAL mess because there are tons of cords coming from the psu, going to everything... (of course)

However... There are cords that I have no use for, and im pretty much done upgrading this comp (next step is new comp)...

Id like to remove those extra wires if possible, but have no clue how... all of the wires are tied together near where they come bursting out of a hole on the psu box... the only visible way I can see to remove a certain wire would be to straight up hack em off, but I have a slight hunch that's not the intended way by antec...

any help would be appreciated...

You could do that if you want to....
As for my, I stuffed all my extra wires behind the motherboard try so they are neat and out of the way.

I have a very small case with a whole lot of wires coming off my PSU. The only way I could manage was to bundle them up as best I could and tape them together. Otherwise air flow would be a real headache.

Bundling the cords behind the board, within drive bays, or frankly anywhere out of the way will be helpful in terms of airflow. Making use of cable ties or elastic bands is a good idea for doing this. Don't simply cut the cables :)
