My 4GHz OC

Ok im not going to try this but just out of interest, how much do ya think with with the cooling systems and all that you could Oc my processor to. It a 3.8ghz.??

maybe i'm being blind but your cpu-z shot shows you at 4.2ghz, not 4.3.
either way that is a good solid oc with some nice temps. Looks like yoiu have a nice piece of silicon.
What temp are you getting under heavy load?
Is this 100% stable?

I did run at 4.3ghz for a couple of minutes and run PI but it wasnt stable, so 4.2ghz is the stable clock speed. :)

Thats a lot of OC. Good job, maybe you should consider putting your comp in the fridge to cool it
Except
1. The AStek keeps it cooler
2. Putting it in a freezer will most likely result in a catastrophic component failure

With Vapochill for cooling ang WC for NB and GPU...time to OC and see how much more i can squeeze out of this system. I got as high as 4.4ghz and it boots up, this is with default vcore....maybe i will try it again this morning ang see some more results. Guys...DONT TRY THIS AT HOME :D ...without proper cooling.

wow, thats pretty damn good, and at stock vcore too. Can you increase vcore without a mod or are you stuck there at the moment?

he is using a ASUS P4C800E DELUXE, which is a good board for ocing, he will have lots of voltage options in bios

I didnt change the vcore yet with this OC, although i tried raising it up to 1.5V and i got as high as 4.5ghz then it boots up. I wont go as high as 1.6V, this might kill CPU in the long run. I think this CPU can go as high as 4.5ghz

Update on my OC :).... Vapochill sure made a big difference in my OC...set vcore to 1.5V/RAM in defualt setting/1:1/2.5-4-4-8...sorry about the picture...too big :)
