My 7800GTX

If I were you I would cancel it and order an X1900XTX and mastercard. Cheaper and better performing. You can fit a crossfire motherboard with the $300 saved.

When the 7900 comes... I see no point of that. Theres always gonna be something better then what you have so just concentrate on now. Besides he could keep his SLI board fro when the 7900 comes out

Well if your looking to go in multi-card go the 7800 but other wise im with 34erd, go the X1900XTX!

Ah not sure now all.

Well other cards should be here Friday morning.

I was looking at the X1900XTX, but it does not have the performance that I like of Sli.

Stop confusing the poor guy, if you were that interested you would have posted all of your opinions before he ordered the damn cards.

@ doom: Stick with the dual 7800GTX 512's for now, only upgrade when you need to, most prbably to the 7900 whe it comes out. dont get the X1900XTX and put it in crossfire, its buggy and the card cross-talk overhead is larger than that of SLi, thus decreasing the combined speed of the cards.

haha hell I would love just to have 1 7800GTX in my computer! I'd buy another GTX mate!

yes think I will keep what I'm getting, though my young son has a nice rig coming on.

And is the X1900XTX 512 a oustanding single card?????

It's the best single card available, but obviously not as good as SLI'd 7800GTX 512s. Nowhere near as expensive, though.
