My beloved flash animations

My story began about a year or two ago on a dark and stormy night, (well it wasn't really night stormy or dark) well anyway I was on my dad's computer-this was before i had gotten my own-and decided to do a quick little flash animation on micromedia flash. I loved it and didn't stop animating for the next 3 years .all was well until the evil motivational fairy came and convinced our young hero to build his OWN computer. All was well for many months until that same fairy motivated the now second time builder to get back into animation. He looked online to buy a copy of FLASH PROFESSIONAL 8 in all its divine glory . But as he scrolled down the page he was shaken with intense fear as he saw the price to be a unbelievable 600-700 USD without tax!!!!!! Trying to keep his Composure her went to his bookmarks and went to his trusted techo savy mercenaries at the computer forum hoping they could show him a cheaper option for 2d animation and how he could transfer his past works onto his new el-cheapo progam!!! only they can save him now:D
*keep in mind im really tired and he=me im not schizophrenic im just in the wrong stateof mind today

My reply to you, check out some older ubt equally as powerful versions, the entire suite of Studio MX2004 is pretty good, i have both the MX2004 and Pro 8, i cant tell much difference, although im not an animator, im a web-guy. Unsure of current prices for MX2004, it isn't retailed anymore i don't think so you would have to find either online stores or go for, say OEM or second hand from eBay etc...
