My Build Comments PLease

Could you post a link to the power supply? There's no such thing as a 500W PSU with 46A on the +12V rails (as that would correspond to 552W just on the +12V rails).

Never heard of High Power; infact that looks like the Jeantech Storm PSU with that display on.
For good reason - both are OEM Sirtec, it's a fairly distinctive design.

So what do you think about that psu is it kosher Is the brand used very often?
Used often? No. Sirtec haven't really been widespread since Thermaltake stopped using them. It's worth noting that this PSU is NOT SLI Certified. It claims to be SLI Ready, but that's not the same thing - it hasn't been through nVidia's certification program, only the 560W version is listed as certified on nVidia's website as certified. If you're interested, it's capable of providing +12V@31.67A.

That said, it should be sufficient for your system. It isn't a very high quality unit, and its efficiency is quite poor, so I'd be inclined to look elsewhere, if possible. How much does it cost, and what alternatives do you have? As always, my list of recommendations is located at http://www.computerforum.com/90117-ceewi1s-psu-recommendations.html

I feel like a big dumby I really should have come here first.

I paid 74 dollars total with shipping guess I got ripped.

Hopefully it will turn out to be okay.

Thanks.

I got worried about this psu after outr discussion and i went ahead and got this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171024

I'll just send the other one back. I don't want to mess this computer up on the first day. LOL I done some other research after ceewi1 said sirtec and I found a actuall full fledged test on this thing and needless to say it wasn't pretty. It faild with just a 20 amp load on the 12v and at 50% of its capacity every voltage failed so I am not taking any chances.

Thanks for the heads up.

The Real Power Pro is a very good unit given its price. You should have no problems using it to power your system, even if you decide to get a second 8800GT down the track.

Well I put it all together and I am now typing to you guys on my new gaming/ internet rig I am happy every thing went smoothly except one small thing where i had two IDE rom drives one dvd r/rom one just a cd rw wouldn't pick up the vista cd so I unplugged the cd rw cable and all is well.:D

She's running kinda hot 111 on the cpu fans seated properly thermal paste was already on the Freezer pro 7. I turned the voltage on the ram up to 2.07 volts. Vist score on the cpu is only 5.5 its a 6750 I am kinda disappointed feel like I should have spent the extra dollar on the cpu didn't cut corners on this build. Heck I bought two psu's cause I had crappy one on the way so i bought a cooler master 750w. what can I do to get the temps down would a bigger case make a tromendous amount of difference I guess the obvious reason is yes. Should have bought a full tower. Know where I can get a good one kinda cheap?

111C? or Farenheit?

750W was overkill... Rosewill and OCZ had many 500-600W PSU's cheap...

Overkill was what I was looking for. I was looking at the BIOS temp readings which were labled cpu.

Core temp says core1 42c and core0 43c

Just played the first two rounds of Bioshock looks freaking awesome! Max settings dx10 man I am glad I did this

This thing is fast.

I havn't even went to sleep yet!

Well get some! Sleep more and get longer play times :D

Should've gotten the GT and gotten ALOT more performance... But still :P

42C under load? Or idle?

I honestly don't see how it could be better I mean substantially noticable.

Anyways I think I'm gonna shut her down for the first time and run her hard again tomorrow.
