I'd ditch the Vista and go for Win 7. Also, from my experience, don't expect to get the rebates. At least I've never actually gotten them =(

Get DDR3 RAM instead. DDR2 become expensive.

CPU - Get Phenom IIx3 720 if you overclock.

Mobo - Are you going to crossfire?
If no, get GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P
If yes, ASUS M4A79XTD EVO

RAM - Get something like 4GB DDR3 1600

Video card - Get 4770 instead. It run as fast as 4850 in most benchmark, and outperfrom 4850 is some occasion, but it run with lower power.

HDD - Western Digital Caviar Black is faster.

OS - Win 7 Premium/ Pro

Case - Have a look at these.
CM Elite RC-310-BWN1-GP - Same price with 332, but it would be better for cable management.
Also these $50 case are with free shipping.
Antec VSK-2000, Antec Two Hundred , CM Gladiator 600 , Thermaltake WingRS 201
IMO, CM Gladiator 600/ Antec 200 are better.

At the end, try to search to see if there are any combo deal.
