My build

replace the fx4100 with an i3:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116775
and this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138352

so you can still upgrade later, the i3 is better for gaming.

Also replace the gtx 550 ti with this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150598

it's newer, faster and cheaper.

sorry, but you will need to spend a little more to add the mobo and the cpu...

My processor has 4core tho i3 only has 2 which is alot better and cheaper, and my graphics card has 2G which is alot better for gaming am i not correct? And my mother board goes with my processor?

smile is right you dont need more than 1 gb for gaming and the 7770 owns the 550ti;)

that amd processors arent that great in my opinion, maybe a phenom x2/4??
i3 will do pretty fine too;)

oh and one question for smile, isnt a mATX cheaper? he wont need so much space i think;)

Depends what resolution. I have 1GB on my 5870 and when gaming at 1080p sometimes it gets a tad laggy because I'm running out of V-RAM. 2GB is a good amount to have these days, most of the budget cards, such as the 7770 and the 550 Ti, only have 1GB though. :(

I'd get the i3 if possible.

Yeah they are cheaper but ATX is usually the better option unless you want a small system.

What is your budget?
650

If any of you can make a better build all through newegg, i will think it over. But that graphics card is better but i rly dont like the 1gb.

And phenom and i3 both run on dual core mines quad = better for gaming correct?

The i3 has HT which makes it 4 threads. And it's a lot better clock for clock :)

If anyone can post a legit 650'ish doller build that is better then mine PLZ do. I Wish most are from newegg but if a piece or two are'nt there go ahead and post the other site.

Yup, get a i3 and a gigabyte board. Any (almost) gigabyte board will do, pick one in your price range. Asrock and espically Asus have AWFUL RMA service. Toshiba hard drives? Go with Samsung, Seagate, or Western Digital. And get the Saphire 6850, it will be better then a 550 Ti. Finally, get the Corsair 300R or a case from NZXT, Corsair, or Bitfenix. The Haf 912 lacks some basic features for a case in this price range, like a painted Mobo tray.

Right now Intel will save some money because of the free memory. And you still get a decent processor that will game well, and a better quality motherboard than the one in your list.

MB/RAM/OS

At it's pricepoint, 3.3GHz and you'll be happy with it's performance even tho it's 2 cores and not 4, because most all games are less than 4 threaded anyways. And for the budget, combined with the free memory, this is the way to go. And you get the burner for $9 shipped.

$650 allows for something like 6850 or 7770..

..or there are others.

This power supply has 40 12v amps, plenty. Seasonic platformed but without the bronze rating. Still a good ps for the sub $50. If you can come up with any more $ at all, let me know.

Generally one of the top 3 picks for hdd and has $12 off promo in eblast. You get eblast from Newegg? SEagate Barracuda 1TB.
The link won't post, so here's the Item # N82E16822148840

This case looks pretty awesome for 40 bucks ! Features and comes with 3 fans too. 1x 120mm and 2x140mm.

After entering all the promos and with shipping, its a couple dollars over $650.

If you really want AMD, you might be ble to do Phenim II 965 @ $90 / 970 chipset mb, and still keep the gpu where it is, I haven't looked because i thing the Z77's free memory might make it better. Let me know.
