hi im going to build a gaming/ 3d animation pc and am thinking about these parts ,i allready have the graphics card and am looking to see what other people think of these parts

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz
GIGABYTE WindForce Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB GDDR5
120mm Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15 Quiet Case Fan - 3 Pin x2
LG 16x SATA Internal BDRW Bare + Software - Worlds fastest BluRay Writer
8GB (2x4GB) Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Dual/Quad Channel Kit
MSI Z87-G45 GAMING Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) ATX Motherboard
BitFenix Alchemy Premium Modding LED Strip - Connect White 12cm x4

What do u guys think also what about the motherboard has anyone used this bored and if so what do u think also what about wifi o and im also in two minds about psu so any recomendations use may have would be great . Hope you guys can help :)

I heard the GD65 is a great board, no info on the G65 so I say no. Really, my number 1 board recommendation is the Gigabyte Z87X OC. Get 16 GB of 1866 MHz ram by Crucial, G.Skill, or Corsair.

I just got Gigabyte Z87X OC motherboard and i7 4770k, all I will say is you better get a good cooler because it runs pretty hot with stock cooler, also a good case fan setup would be advised.

+1 on the cooling, I would suggest water cooling if you're going to spend such serious ammts of money anyway :P. an if you arent going to go 16gb then at least go 12 cuz you're going to need more than 8 for sure....scratch that and just go 16GB, I have 16 and while running premier pro, itunes, chrome, after effects and some minor programs, I am using up about 10GB...while rendering I use about 13GB so it's pretty demanding sometimes (W7 x64)...sounds like a nice rig though! Get a good set of monitors (at LEAST 2) and a nice mouse and keyboard!

For your 3D animation stuff you might want more RAM - 16GB via 2x8GB possibly. What software are you using for animation?

PSU wise the Corsair TX 650 V2 would be an ideal unit.

Thanks for the replies .ye i was thinkibg about going more ram and im using maya and 3ds max for the animation does any of the boards have wifi .also not much of a watercooler fan

Also i need a board that is similar to the asus v deluxe which i curently have and i must be able to get it from aria.co.uk as they offer a buy now pay later im obv looking to spend as little as possible so any more help would be amazing

If I was going to build a Haswell system today, I'd be interested in this board http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...Socket+1150)+ATX+Motherboard+?productId=55557 £168 and looks the part. ;)

Or you could get this and get money back http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...otherboard+++20%+MONEY+BACK!+?productId=55556

Having Wi-Fi on the board isn't essential. You can buy adapters very cheaply which will work. I think I got a PCI Wi-Fi adapter from novatech.co.uk for like 10 quid once, and you can probably get them cheaper than that.

He could get a UD4H and get 20% cash back though, saving some money. The UD4H looks likes a great board too.

Anything from 100-270 for a decint one but of course if i can get one that will be good with high quality gaming and animation at a cheap price id go for that :) any on aria.co.uk u guys think thats good .ive seen a few but undecided as yet
