My computer cant play games! :(

Hey guys,

First of all I just registered yet this username wasn't taken!!!

Anyway my computer goes really slow when I try to play Portal 2 on the lowest graphic specs.

I've got a 2002 XP Packard Bell desktop with

• 2.19 ghz of ...ghz?
• 960mb RAM
• AMD athlon 64 processor 3400+.

Soo apparently all those specs are good enough... Riiight

Anyway if anybody has any ideas.. thank you!

Hi welcome to Computer forum.

Your computer is quite dated im afraid, I can only assume your using Integrated graphics?

If it is then thats most likely why it does not run Portal 2 very well,Even though its not really considered a demanding game.

My graphics card is an ATI RADEON Xpress 200 series. Does that make sense?

Yes, and that is an integrated chipset, so it will not run Portal.

hey yeah check out the desktop thread there are alot of first time builders in there and you can look around, and then make a new thread just say your budget and someone will help you out
