my computer case came with AC 97 & HD AUDIO?

my computer case came with AC 97 & HD AUDIO? which one is betteR? whats the different for the ac 97 and the hd audio. im assuming hd high def. and 97 is oldschool. whcih one should i connect to the mother board.

One is not" better" than the other, it all depends on the headers you have on your motherboard.
