My computer constantly needs updating

When I click the start button on the desktop its saying it has updates to install and I have done it like 5 times and its just 1 update thats not installing. its not saying its not installing but everytime I restart my computer its still there so whats going on?
 
With the amount of issues you've posted on these forums, I would suggest
reinstalling your Operating System.

Your HP should have a Recovery utility built into a partition on your hard drive.
When you boot your pc, you should see a screen that says:
"Press F10 For Recovery"

Keep in mind you should back up all your documents first, such as your
pictures, Word documents, Music, etc.
