Wondering...
---------------------------------------------------

Hmm... I have heard many things about my computer.... Wondering if it is good or not ><.

---------------------------------------------------
Hardware
---------------------------------------------------

-ATI Radeon 9000

-AMD Athlon 32bitprocess (I think around 2ghz)

-512 DDR Ram (Kingston mainly)

-(Don't care about hard drives, and well... what else matters in games? :P)

---------------------------------------------------
Please...
---------------------------------------------------

Please leave a... summary of what my computer would be rated from top to bottom on a scale of 1-10 and if it is questionable or not. I have heard that it is the best thing on the market, and that it is the oldest thing, and thats within the same week so i am confused.

-But i love it, and it works extremely well... The only problem is heat ><. I can't afford a liquid cooling system, or good fans, so i am stuck with heating problems, I don't think it will fry (Pretty sure).

it works extremely well...
in browsing... ?
it won't do any good with any of the new games
he only problem is heat
what are your temps ?
I can't afford a liquid cooling system, or good fans,
sorry dude but this PC doesn't deserve more than Stock cooling.

i would give it 3
it's a personal opinion

EDIT:
and by the way whoever told you it's the best or whatever... he's fooling around with you

Kingston mainly, does this mean that there are other modules of RAM in the PC that arent of the same brand? Also, HD's do have some, it might be small, but they have some effect on the performance of games so including that would be better. Also, as said above, what are your temps? And cooling fans arent that expensive you know.

Hmmm... i get no lag on L2 mhich is pretty high.

By the way, please go on my thread SPYWARE and helr me out.

by todays standards its fairly low end, personally i would give it a 3, and the only reason being that because i know of people on this board with slightly worse :D

A simple way of putting it is that in terms of todays technology and whats available your computer is technically obselete.

What else matters in games. Well graphics card matters, and your graphics card = really really bad. Processor is also important, but seeing that your rig is a low end rig, your graphics card is the worst in all of the parts.

Gah, mines worse!

Pentium D = 2.6GHz
256mb DDR
128 Random nVidia Graphics card
60Gb HDD
Integrated sound

I'm depressed haha.

The CPU is much better then his, and your video card is probably slightly better.

Just upgrade to 512MB-1GB and you'll be fine.

3 out of 10.

But hey, if you are pleased with it, and it does everything you want it to, there's no reason to upgrade lol

Well, Noah's Ark was powered by an Athlon XP processor. Of course the navigation sytem, which was critical that it functioned properly, was powered by Intel. I believe, if I remember the story correctly, that the AMD overheated (which was quite typical for them) and burned out, causing him to float around aimlessly until the water receded. Why else do you think he landed on a mountain? But fortunately our hero had Intel to guide him, so at least he was well aware of where he ended up. :D

man, he was really technically knowledgeable! Does that mean that he was the creator of Intel and AMD? Now I don't believe in evolution anymore!! If Noah created the first Intel Processor....

No, he bought them from his son Shem, who was runing a little shop on the outskirts of town. Shem bought them from his supplier, Methusaleh, who had been running an outfit for the last 269 years. Methusaleh purchased them from Intel and AMD, who at that time were running out of little stone shops in the industrial section of Jericho.

If the Athlon is only that old, then where do the Pentiums I and II come in? like the dinosaurs? The reason they went extinct was because the PI and PII couldnt handle all the processes needed for all those dinosaurs.
