My computer does not start?? please help

I have desktop HP pavilion media center with windows vasta home preimum. 3g ram and 500gb hard drive.when I turn it on after while says window has been shut down to prevent damage to ur computer. windows does not start ,giving error. then I tried to system recovory to bring it to factory condtion,but when system recovoy had reached to 40% then it says windows has been shut down to prevent............ I could not done recovory. I think some files are deleated. now says windows does not start because missing or corropting files. then I tried to system recovory from dices ,it stoped at 40% again. but should I do ? window does not start .thanks

When you get the Blue Screen, catch the stop code, and write it down, and we will see what we can do. It is most likely hardware related. Has anything happened recently? Does it sound like the fans are all still working?

last time I have writen were
0x0000004E,[0x00000099,0x0000E3A7,0x00000000,0x0000E388]

it was working ok it started from one week. now computer turn on but nothing comes on screen. thanks
 
computer was working ok it is 14 months old. I just restart compture again 5 min. ago . now on the screen stop code are

0X0000007E,[0XC0000005,0X8E4E8874,0X88783B50,0X8878384C] they r still on screen .
 
I'm guessing either a memory or bios issue. Try only using one stick of memory at a time to see if you can get it to install. Try updating the bios also.
 
I took it future shop ,they said , motoher board gone. need new mother board. they,said we have ordered from hp. It will be between $200 to $300. plush $100 labour. Then I think should buy new computer rather then spend $400 for repair. What you guys think ? do I get cheeper mother board from some where? I am in canada. thanks for help.
 
Ouch. I would try booting with one stick of RAM, and try updating the BIOS, to see if that is true. I know that we had a computer that works fine, but my parents were told they needed a new one, just because they get part of the sale. (Like a commission.) However, if the mobo is dead, it would be better to just but a new computer.

What is the model? I will show you the best price I can find it for.
 
If the main board is dead, I doubt it would even pass the bios check. before you spend the money. I think you should take John suggestion check the memory first. I had a Faulty stick ram in one of my computer before. it behave the same way like yours.

I am new to this site. who is john? how I contect to john ?I will give you model number my computer today when I picked up my computer from futuer shop.I am not expert in computer parts and not expert what wrong in my computer. thanks

which one the best desktop computer buy? I will buy new . I do not want to spend $300 to 400 on hp one . thanks
