Hi,

since today I always get this message:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Your System will shut down now.
You have time to save your datas before.
Remaining time is : 1 Minute ( running out).
The shutdown was caused by NT-AUTORITÄTS/SYSTEM.

Message:
Service Remoteprozeduraufruf (Remoteprocedurestart) was unexpectedly finished.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Then my computer really shuts down. Today for 3 times! BIg Shit!!! :(

I use Sygate Firewall, AnitVir, PestPatrol and AdAware and I constantly update this programs. None of them found anything or gave me a message.

I really hope somebody knows something about that!?

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards Nancy

Sorry for the worse english.

It sounds like the blasterworm. Are you up to date with patches for Windows?
That would be the best fix, if you could connect to the internet long enough to install the patches. Or try to get a SP2 CD from a friend and install patches via CD.

i had the same problem so this is what i did. go to Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tool>Service>Remote Procedure Call (RPC)>left click>Properties>Recovery>TAKE NO ACTION (for all of them) once you done that, restart the computer you should not have shutdown problem again then run virus scan/spy scan whatever it is :-)
