If it IS the PSU, dont panic yourself too much, depending on the specs of your PC they can be very reasonably priced... (far more reasonable than calling in a professional), once you have a new one its as simple as unscrewing the case, removing the old PSU, screwing in the new one plugging it in and booting up.... theres literally no point in having a PSU fixed.
Still, from what you have said it could just as easily be a dodgy power cable too, so dont give up... As for heat, you can probably check the temperatures in the bios by pressing DEL at the right time on startup (though, if you have a pc from a 'computer company' i.e one that sells you a complete system with their own customised software on it, you may not be able to access it in the same way...) check the computer loading screens, they normally tell you how to go into 'setup' or something... quite often theres a temp monitor there.
Though... if the computer isnt having time to get warm it probably isnt heat, its more likely to be that if it reboots when you are doing something processor intensive like playing a game or if it has been on for a while.
Edit: Unless you are seeing a blue screen right before it reboots, its unlikely to be a software issue, meaning its most probably either a power issue or a heat issue, I'd put my money on the power cable/psu from what you have said, the rest of the hardware is far more unlikely to cause resets. So as far as other possibilities go... theres nothing obvious (that I can think of atm anyway).
Good Luck!
