Looks nice, but can you not go with a cheaper hard drive, and also i would look at the 8800GT card or the ATI 3850/3870 cards because they completly OWN the 8600 cards and not much more money (ati)

Check out the E6850 and the Q6600 G0 version from ClubIT

Also look at Gigabyte's P31-DS3L

Look at the HD3850 and the 8600GTS or the 8800GT

Look at Securemart's Antec 900

And Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 from Newegg for $41 after rebates

Which is best? E6850 or Q6600? They are about the same price

Why is Gigabyte's P31-DS3L better than the one i have?

I think i'll get HD3850

There is something you should know about oscaryu
he thinks that the gigabyte mobo is the best in the world
if you ask for a 5000$ build hewould suggest that.
if you ask for a 500$ build he'd suggest that
it very well could be the best mobo in the world but it hasn't been proven
:-P

Well the q6600 is quad core and the e6600 is dual core
so take your pick

Btw the board oscaryu suggested isn't necessarily a bad board. Judging by the reviews it looks pretty good. Im just messing with him

I guess quad core? Im using this for gaming so.. What would you choose? Sorry im noob this is my first time making a computer!

ClubIT has the Q6600 with the G0 version for $275

Look for Rosewill's 550W SLi Certified PSU, or OCZ's GameXStream 600/700W PSU's.

If you can spend a bit more cash, look at the HD3870

Samsung has a IDE DVD Burner for $27.99 free shipping. And I'd recommend a a SATA drive if you have some extra cash :D

Look at Securemart.com's Antec 900 case. If that doesn't suit you, look at the P180 or the P182.

Hmm... well technically the $500 would be the P31 and P35. $5000... That's different. Either a 680i or the x38's :P

I would like to stick with one company newegg. since its too complicated chasing parts.;)
HD3870 is sold out on newegg
the dvd burner is sata

Not bad. Newegg has the Antec 900 for $69.99 after rebates, which I would HIGHLY recommend.

Look for Newegg's XMS2 2GB for $41 after rebates :)

Look at OCZ's GameXStream 700W for $95 at newegg...

Just because it's out of stock doesn't mean it'll be always outta stock ;)

If it's just 2GB, look at the P31-DS3L

I'll look into the cases.
Are the rams any faster than the one i have?
I'm desperate for parts so i hate to wait
I plan on adding more RAM in the future
