My computer still won't turn on even after I've gotten brand new parts

I recently had a power surge in my house and after it my computer wouldn't turn on so I replaced my motherboard and Powersupply same brand and model, and I'm not sure if I'm just not plugging things in correctly or what but when o go to turn it on it won't come on, no lights no fans, and I've tested out the socket with multiple devices and have even tried a different one, it still won't turn on, please help!

Other parts brand and model?

When you plug power cord into socket, motherboard "power led" (if present) should lit. Does it?
