If this was being caused by a Windows glitch and not a simple change of the view>explorer bar>which item checked.... oops! wasn't supposed to give that one away. That was for you to decode! .......
And yes thare have been a few times in the last few days where you saw "CF will return soon" and figured that may have been for routine maintainence except it happened right in the middle of a... (wait... and wait... and wait... while the thing spun around like it was trying to) post.
Then the trial version of Trend Micro kept breaking the connection at this end.
That got removed fast! 
It was great for blocking a few sites and removing a few ... bugs not found by anything else but as resource grabbing as Norton. 
But Windows see an impartial install? 
where something didn't get copied correctly to the drive. That could never happen.
