ok this is probably a simple question but at this point im just clueless. my computer is built by myself but i dont think that has anything to do with my problem. whatever i do i cannot get my computers clock to stay accurate. ive tried disabling the automatic update for the clock. is there anything else i can try. the clock will stay accurate for about 2 or 3 weeks and then it will just go off by 2 hours or so. this is not a huge problem its just something i would like fixed. is there anything you guys know of that i can try? thanks

sounds like the mobo battery needs replacing the clock not keeping good time is one of the things a dying battery will do another thing is a csmos error on boot up, open the pc case and remove the battery take it with you and buy a replacement put the new one in
and that should cure the problem, p.s when you first turn the pc on after replacing the battery it will throw a csmos error dont worry just boot to windows and put the clock right .
