My computer's USB port is not working

Hello guys I have a computer With specifications
AMD Athlon 64 X2 and Motherboard Am2
And the USB port is not working When I contact the keyboard and mouse it doesn't work

And my computer is off now

You need to be more specific than "AM2 Motherboard". What is the make and model number of the board?

Did you try all USB ports?

Does the keyboard and mouse work in the bios? If not then it's an old system and it probably crapped out finally.

I try all USB port and not working, the motherboard is NF6IS-M2TE

You didn't tell if mouse and keyboard worked in the bios. If it doesn't then its probably time for a new computer. This computer is about 18 years old at this point, they don't last forever.

If you're really desperate you could probably put a pcie usb card in there if the controllers actually RIP'd, would depend if the BIOS supports that or not. Otherwise unless it's a sentimental piece or you want it to be in a museum it's probably not worth the effort.

If the spec sheet says 'supports Windows 2000', it's probably time to upgrade.

Or absolute worse case, get a PS/2 mouse and keyboard and see if that works. If not, then it needs to go to Silicon Heaven.
