anyone else have any suggestions
If you will pay for it go with the audigy 2zs great soundcard, have one myself works great. You could always upgrade the psu or sound card a little more or upgrade to like a 7900 gtx or since your mobo is crossfire like a x1900xtx if its within the budget. I mean how it is set up now is amazing, but if you are under budget, then why not.

I believe SLI has to have an nVidia chipset.
That it does, Intel is not supporting SLI on their conroe boards, there will be sli conroe boards but the chipsets and boards will all be from 3rd parties.

nForce 500 SLI for Conroe should be here soon.

i am really not that interested in ati. i think a single GT will do just fine. i have no need (besides bragging rights) to get an sli setup. do you guys see any incompatibilites or something i missed because i am ordering this as soon as newegg carries the conroe line

I am just saying that chipset may work better with ati, and you won't lose performance between the x1800xt and the 7900gt. It just makes it more future proof, but also guarentees compatibility.

yea if your getting nvidia card why are you getting a crossfire ready board?

is the ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe really good?

I am going to mabye order it with my conroe? Can you tell me if its that good?

Yes and notice how there are no pictures? And I bet you can't find a single picture on any retail site for it.

Thats because they jumped the gun again. The board won't be in for a few week is my bet and they will do what all online sales do...get you to comitte to the purchase and then tell you that it will ship 3 weeks from now or something. Happened to me before so be careful.

Tiger Direct also has it with a picture, but it is bundled with an E6300.

And as I've said in other places I don't believe that board does support the Conroe. If it did then why would they be making the same board but renaming it the P5NSLI SE?

I seriously think that they made a mistake on that board. I think they ment to put the SE which is rumored to be coming in very soon. And I feel even more sure about that because if you go to a higher priced CPU and check the bundles there you will see that same exact board but labeled with the SE. And they tell you that you can buy this P5NSLI SE board in this bundle when it is not even out yet. Thus why I think you are going to get a 3weeks+ wait until the SE actually does release.

Just my opinion though.
