My CPU is not performing as expected

You have to flash your bios using a usb flash drive. Look for a guide on it. There might be one on this forum. I'm on my phone so can't look very well.

yes update the bios, do it with a usb stick and flash it true the bios.
no worry,s
if you don't know how read it on the site from the motherboard.

Fixed it!

So unlike most forum threads I venture across, i'd figure I actually post the solution.

Like you guys suggested, updating the bios worked. Was a bit more trouble than first expected though. For some odd reason storage usb sticks would not work, and so I could not do it that way. I read the manual for the motherbord and found out I could download ASUS AI suite II. Which updates this stuff automatically. Sadly, the CD was only compatible with Windows 7.

Ended up downloading the software through their site and it was pretty easy from there. This only took med like 3-4 hours to figure out and fix, but I've been busy with studies and work this past week. I just did not have the energy to do anything about it when i got home.

I can't thank you enough for your help guys. In hindsight this seemed like a pretty obvious solution, but this saved me probably a month of back and forth with this computer to the Komplett offices.

Try my bench again, I'm like I said before, very interested in the real performance. Close all other programs while running.
An ivy-bridge-E 4930k already showed up and puts some awesome results against it Sandy bridge competitor.
