My dell gx280 is not loading os

I have a dell gx280 i installed win 7 pro 32 bit in it today it works fine then when i turn it on again its shows an error drive 1 not found:serial ata,sata-2 drive 3 not found parellel ata,pata-1 (pri ide slave)stike f1 to continue f2 to run setup utility.i strike f1 then it shows NTLDR is missing press ctrl+alt +del to restart i do as it say then shows same drive 1 etc.what is the solution.
 
Sounds like you have a bad hard drive. What brand of drive is it? Look in the bios to see if the drive is even recognized. Dells have a setting to where you can turn the sata ports on and off, make sure the port used for the hard drive is turned on.

Usually when it tells you NTLDR is missing, you have to re-install the operating system. I have had that error a few times.

I would think that if it was a drive issue, it would just say no operating system found or something. When it says NTLDR is missing that means there is an operating system there just missing files.

What you could do, is if you can access the hard drive files where windows is installed (you can use a live distro of Linux to do this on that machine I think) and see if the NTLDR is actually there.

I believe last time I had this problem I did in fact have the files it said I didnt, it was just a matter of resetting the master boot record in the windows file. Which I dont exactly remember how to do but a quick google you should find it.
