!!my Fan Stopped!!

I overclocked my CPU from 2.5 to 2.65, but I underclocked back anyway.

The problem is, now my fan seem to stop, according to Asus Probe 2 and MBM5. But when I check the fan in the bios, it's still going, nothing wrong. WHY???

Should I take my computer apart and see, although I am not a computer expert.

so can u hear your fan running? and what kind of computer do you have? if it has stopped you need to be real careful so you wont fry it or anything, let me know what kind of computer you have

Opening th side panel and seeing if it's running is really easy. Putting your ear next to the case and listening to see if it's running requires 0% computer knowledge lol.

Overclocking it might have messed up the sensor or defaulted it to one that is not being used. See if you can get an RPM reading from a differnt one in MBM.

Prolly cuz you have your CPU fan connected to a different lead than expected no biggie (if that the case)
