i haven't upgraded to a new computer in like 4 yrs. i have been with intel for 7 yrs. i just thought i ill try "amd" out, so far so good, but i have heard the intel 6600 beats it by far. oh well

IMO, the amd phenom works good. They have dropped the price to $200.

Actually, the AMD is a real Quad. It's a "monolith" if I'm not mistaken. A TRUE Quad core processor. The Intel Quad is just 2 Dual cores put together.

But the Intel's performance is better

Looks nice, don't like your resolution though, 1440x900 is much better. Nice PC nonetheless.
