I see there is no real answer between Intel & AMD, haha, I can tell that ultimately it's a decision I must make, & that there is no real "wrong" choice. Any additional input is welcome. I will post about my ri when it' finished! Thanks!

There really is no answer, Intel will always have some advantages over AMD and vise-versa. Get the one that seems best according to what you are going to do with that computer (gaming, work, 3D design, etc). As for right now though, I would recommend Intel processors. No point pledging your full allegiance to a brand if it's not as good as it's competitor. The processor technologies are continuously changing. Get the best, inside your budget, that is.

The AMD rig will suit your needs.

The Intel Core i7 build is better.
