My First Build. Need Some Feedback

Ok so I want to build my own PC and my budget is around $600-$700. I will be running dual monitors and I can't decide between Windows 8 or Windows 7. I'm currently on 8 and I'm not sure if I like it or not.

I won't be doing a ton of gaming.

I will be editing video.

To save money I am going to reuse my 500GB HD and pair it with a SSD (OS). I also have a 1TB external.

Here is what I have so far:

Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-990FXA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514

Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 965 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

Video Card - XFX HD-677X-ZNFC Radeon HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150560

SSD - Crucial M4 64 GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148441

RAM - G.SKILL RipJaws 8GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314

Power Supply - SeaSonic 620W Modular http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095

All feedback is greatly appreciated.

You'll need as much threads as possible for video editing. An FX6300 will do the job well, but if you got maybe 20 dollars more, I would go for the FX8320.
HD7770 should be enough l, it's a pretty good card for the money. If you can find an hd6870 cheaper get it. It has a bit more processing power.
Like stranglehold said, the GA 970A UD3 will do more then enough. Go with an 990FX if you're planning to SLI/CF.
