my first build.

was looking over the feedback for the motherboard i purchased and saw this:

Pros: Made a noob mistake of building the whole computer first before making sure MB was able to boot.. What a waste of a hour 1/2..

Cons: Its dead, changed out different power supplies, mem sticks, check all connections and when I go to boot up nothing... Went over everthing and I just must be unlucky..

Other Thoughts: Wish it would have worked? This is my first DOA and im pretty bummed... Was building for a friend and now I kinda look like an donkeys u know what..


what does this mean?
 
some people do a primary build outside the case, checking to see if the components will pass POST and then drop them in the case, just plugging in ram, cpu, vga and power supply and shorting the power jumper together to make the board power on
