Alright so I'm about to build my first true gaming computer. Heres what I'm getting.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
LOGISYS Computer Area 51 CS51WBK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
BIOSTAR TA870U3+ AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
EVGA 02G-P3-1559-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 192-bit GDDR 5
Rosewill Xtreme Series RX850-S-B 850W Power Supply
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD10EALX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
LG DVD Burner Black SATA Model GH24NS90 - OEM
EVERCOOL HPFA-10025 100mm Ever Lubricate CPU Cooler (Buffalo for AMD)

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

its alright i mean you wont be playing BF3 on high or anything but it will play mid range games quite nice and higher end games on low-medium damn good

go to an AM3+ motherboard with the 970 chipset. It will allow you to upgrade in the future if you want.

an HD6850 should be faster and about the same price.

Rosewill is not a good brand. Go to a Corsair 600 watt.

the coolermaster hyper 212+ will be better for only a little more. its like $30 and will allow you to overclock farther, or just keep your CPU cooler.

Ok I've changed a few things:

MSI 970A-G46 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Galaxy 56NPH6HS4IXX GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-630SS 630W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

I feel like this is alot better than what I had picked out before. Also thanks for the input, anymore would be welcomed.

raidmax is no good either. For PSU you need one from Antec, Corsair, NZXT, OCZ, PC power and cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, or XFX.

the 6870 is faster and cheaper. If your going for that, go to a 460 and you will save money and get the same performance.

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX
Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Better?

Budget? And, logisys makes low quality compnents, cases included, and AWFUL power supplies, and if its possible, even worse power supplys are included in the case. But, I do see you were smart enough to choose a better power supply, like that rosewill. But, rosewill power supplys are okay at best, and you will never use 850watts if you are always going to be on a budget, plus you are paying a lot of money for it.I dont think biostar makes bad motherboards, but they sure are not as good as asus, gigabyte, asrock, etc.The gpu can be upgraded with the money saved to a much better one Case:Sounds like you want a cool looking budget case, so here: newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066 Corsair, antec, and cooler master make good cases, and the rosewill challenger is a good one Power: newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341047 Normally I would reccomend corsair, but this has better efficancy than the very comparable corsair cx600, and should be better and quieter, and it has just slightly less wattage than a cx600.Also, 500w is enough to drive a 6950 with a i7, this will definatly be enough for now and a few upgrades CPU:tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1724262&CatId=4432&SRCCODE=MDOTTD&MobileOptOut=1 Slightly better than phenom x4 (like 8% to 20% in most programs), same price after rebate, and it is actually saving you money by not having to get a cpu cooler like that evercool you chose, because this x6 includes a cpu cooler! And I chose tigerdirect because of rebate GPU:newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150549 You just created a beast with this card. This is $200 after rebate, and the xfx double s cards have great cooling and a good stock overclock. It will have double the performance of a 550 ti (a LOT) and still have 2 gb, and it includes dirt 3! Motherboard: newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280 Nice motherboard from good brand.Okay, now, combine this with some of the parts you chose and you have a budget BEAST for only around $50 more.

Sorry, that post was being typed before anybody else posted, and got submit after everybody posted. But you should still go with what I posted.

$800 - $850 is what I'd prefer to stay at. I'm trying to do all my purchases on Newegg.
I built you a BEAST and that is what you are going to say?Tigerdirect is on the same level as newegg, and I just made you spend just $30 more.Oh, did I mention, Its a BEAST!

Corsair, antec, and cooler master make good cases, and the rosewill challenger is a good one
HAF 912 is 10x the case that is for the same price.

I can not get the tiger direct link up, but if it is a X6, there is no use on a gaming machine.

you have not created a beast. You have created a slightly better computer and shot it in the head with the case.

I just prefer Newegg. I've never had a problem with anything I've bought from them and everything was delivered on time. I've only order from TD twice and both times something wasnt right.
