My folder option loss

Hi all, I am currently having this problem on my pc is that i loss my folder option in the control pannel. Is there any solution for me to recover my folder option back as some of my files is inside the folder option..Thanks in advance ppl here.
 
Do you have a Windows installation disk onhand? The folder options is part of Windows Explorer itself. You run the system file checker utility to have your system files verified and repaired even replaced with this utility. The "sfc /scannow" command starts this by typing that in at the Run prompt. The system tool will prompt for the Windows cd and takes several minutes to run. You probably saw a bad install of some program. That's the usual cause.
 
Hopefully it will be just the little annoyance with a Windows glitch there. If you recently tried out any 3rd party wall papers or desktop themes that could saw something hang. If you don't see any results try running a few spyware and adwares removers to see if you picked up something that way.

Well, you can also reach it from opening up any folder such as your "My Computer" or "My Documents." Going to TOOLS>FOLDER OPTIONS at the top.

Also, as far as I remember, the folder options just keeps the settings of the folders, you really can't store anything in there. So, could it possibly be that you may be referring to something else also? Unless, you are refering to those settings as your "my files."
