Hey guys,
I have just installed a copy of W7 onto my friends hdd.
I used the hdd onto my own computer as his would BSOD right at the windows splash screen. So ive already installed a copy of W7 but when i try to boot it on his computer it will only come up as safe mode. How do i get around this? I can only get it to boot into safe mode. Ive already tried restarting it and enter the boot in normal mode but it still is booting into SAFE MODE!

Have you installed any drivers yet? Or is this the first boot after the install? Typically when this happens, you have some kind of driver conflict. I'd go through and remove your most recent drivers and try reloading with other versions. Confirm they are all for the correct hardware and Windows 7 compatible.

Please explain. If you installed the OS onto his hard drive when it was in his computer and now his hard drive is in your computer, thats why. You can't take a hard drive that had windows installed on it on a different computer and put it in yours and expect it to boot up properly as all the hardware is all different. We need the error code on the blue screen. Put the drive back in his computer.

When you say you installed a "copy" of Win7, do you mean the original disc that HASN'T been installed on another computer?
