i just recieved a 6800 today, and put it in the agp slot turn the comp on and it makes a continous beep sound will not stop until i turn comp off, any help appreciated ???
Are you getting to the desktop or is it just making a beeping noise and no visuals? And if it is getting to the desk top is your comp recognizing the card?
The card itself beeps to tell you that it's not receiving enough power to run at full spec. When you do receive the replacement card or get another one or whatever, make sure plug in two molex connectors, and then it won't beep at you.
