my graohics card on its way out?

this is dual screen but a copy of main screen (i dont wnat that)

this is what happens when i choose them to be indipentant of each other

this is what happens every now and again no matter what the settings are

it will operate ok until i go play cod4 then when i exit i get the distortion-! its all random but its only on dvi port 1

any ideas?

all newest drivers are being used

wait i recognize the pattern it is from erm ram

when i fitted new ram into my system (went from 1gb or 2gb) it came up with the exact same pattern

i could have told you this in msn but i felt like getting another 1 in my post count

try swapping your ram out and around

So, it's fine till you play CoD4? What if you play CoD with both monitors the same?

its all hit and miss!!!

i just played cod4 with both and it was fine, yesterday i played it with one monitor and it went fuzzy!!!!!

only seems to be dvi port 1 that has the problem

If you swap 'em around, does it happen to the other monitor, ie, same port?

no-when i select dual monitor (indipendant) my main screen goes fuzzy-

and when i play cod4 its fine but when i close the game down it goes fuzzy?

it was going fuzzy when i tried to open cod4 but now its only when i close it down-its on its last legs in my opinion
