Hey there,
I have a gtx 560 (asus 1gb) running in my computer right now. I have encountered several problems with insanely low fps with the various drivers I have tried with the gpu, such as the 277.51 and 270.61 drivers. I have recently installed the 280.26 drivers for the gtx 560, and they work great for the games I play, as long as i don't shut down my computer. If I shut down (or restart) my computer, the 280.26 drivers will begin to perform erroneously and give me the same 'low fps' issue that I had with the other drivers for the card. If I reinstall the drivers after this happens, they will work again, but only until the next time I shutdown. Any ideas on how to fix or if you can relate please let me know anything about what you think might be happening after every shutdown.
Looking forward to any ideas,
Thanks
