My gtx 670 slowing down?

Hey guys,

Is it normal that components like the GPU, eventually under-performs over time? I've had it for almost 7 months now, and this is the first time I've noticed that games start to get slightly laggier.

I can tell by how my GPU can't produce solid 60FPS on starcraft at random times, and it takes like 1 or 2 seconds longer to quit an application like Left 4 Dead 2.

I didn't install anything major, no major changes made to my computer both software and hardware wise.
Temps idle at around 29~32C, max is around 65C, and has always been like this.

Actually, I think it may be my CPU, not my GPU.

I recently cleaned off the dust and the temps are totally fine... From 22~27C idle to 67C maximum. Not sure why my computer now takes longer to boot up...

This have to do with your SSD/HDD, not with your other components. The more files on it, the slower it will load. But it can also slow down just because data from everything you're using, the cache, is been saved on your disk.

You can re-install windows to have your previous speed back...

I seriously have not installed anything major to my SSD. I only have half of it filled (out of 240GB).

Plus, I thought that more you write and delete off of any SSD, the permanent life of a SSD will decay over time? I've only had this for 7 months
