my headphone/mic jack are dead?!

suddenly my front mic/headphone jack stopped working and my mic jack on the back doesn't work too.. but all the other jacks works I don't know what's going on :mad: my mb is a p7p55d deluxe and I'm running window7

are the jack using the same connection. it could be that the wires are messed up or even th whole jack. do you have one that works so you can plug it in place where the old is. if it doesn't work either than it could be the motherboard
