My HP G60 laptop is having trouble

It was working fine yesterday. But after school today, I was ready for spending the rest of the night with an Allods and Miku Miku Dance marathon! But my laptop won't turn on! It's plugged in, and I haven't had the laptop for a year yet. Upon pressing the button, not even the fan will start. I re-positioned the battery several times. I plugged it in the charger, too. Please! Someone help!:(

Well, it's possible that your external power supply is dead. Do you have another one to test? I assume you've checked the obvious - loose connections or bad electric socket. Also, is it possible that something was spilled on it?

You say you haven't had it for a year - is it under warranty? I would return it to be repaired if none of the above works.

Take the battery out and hold the power button down for about 20-30 seconds. Just plug power back in (no battery) and see if it'll power up. Sometimes this fixes minor problems. You may also check things like the RAM which could be knocked loose. However, given the failure rate of HPs in the past couple years, I'd suspect it's a bad motherboard.
