My I7 core is spiking 40-50% when running team speak!

What are the complete system specs?
What other programs (if any) are open when the spikes occur?
Is the CPU overclocked?

It seems to be happening at regular intervals. Find out, roughly, how long it happens, so the time between the peaks, and then open up task manager and go to services. Click the CPU column so it is in order of CPU usage, and see which it is that jumps

Have you noticed what program spikes every 30 second or so then?

What Anti-Virus/Firewall do you have?

I have both AVG and MSE but the cpu strikes are not related to the spikes because i only get spikes when running TS3 (Team Speak 3).
