My Internet Is Driving Me Mad

Last night it cut off and didn't work again until this lunchtime. The orange light was flashing on and off all the time. It started to work again and go blue this luchtime. It then went off again this teatime which has made me mad. :mad:

I then banged the hub against the floor in anger and smashed it. Now all the lights have gone off but the internet for some reason has started working ok. :confused:

Your modem might be defective (moreso now that you smashed it). When you have issues with your connection, it is always best to contact your ISP so they can perform line and diagnostic checks. If it acts up again, give them a call.
 
Yeah that prob wasnt the best idea to smash it, it sounds like it isnt the hardwares fault sounds like the line is having trouble syncing and you have an intermittent connection, both of which could have been sorted by calling your ISP.
Also if your ISP did find out it was the hardware it would have prob been under warranty and the ISP would have replaced it for free, obviously now its smashed they wont.
 
with DSL if it has been storming, and water gets in there it can cause havock like that, when it dried out (this am) it works again... It could of just been your ISP as well...
