My internet stops randomly, help?

I have to type this fast, my internet is being fussy for some reason.

It all started about 2 weeks ago, my internet had been running very slow, yet my torrents would be getting 600kb/sec. And even without torrents running mozilla would get network timeouts constantly.

Now every once in a while it says "A network cable is unplugged" and I lose all internet access. I noticed in my LAN status my packets sent drop to around 100 while my packets recieved stays at about 5,000,000.

Is there more information I need to submit?

I have a netgear cable modem/router from Comcast.
My ethernet card is a Yukon Marvell.

Most likely I'll just have to call Comcast. My netbook, my pc, and my xbox 360 all get low internet speeds yet my torrents are strong when I have them on.
 
Ew you know when you close Mozilla Firefox and try to start it again does it come up with an error message? And if so its just a bug that Firefox needs to fix ive had the same problem since the latest update of firefox.. =[
 
I haven't really seen an error with firefox.

I disabled my ethernet card, waited a few minutes, and then enabled it, and for the past 15 minutes I haven't had any trouble. I hope I fixed it.

Yer, if you do get the bug with Firefox they just say End the Process or Restart Comp i have to restart my comp every time because it wont end the process its quite enoying haha i was thinking of switching to Chrome until it gets fixed :P
