My laptop connects to unknown network, why?

Hey everyone,

I've had this problem for a pretty long time that every time I start my laptop it connects to an unknown open network instead of connecting to my own network. The weird thing is anytime I'm near another open network it never connects to it.

I have to save certain networks as a profile for my laptop to be able to automatically connect to it, and this one I haven't saved.

I just keep connecting to the network like it would be a magnet or something....

Anyone got an idea what the problem might be?

Windows Vista/7 I'm guessing?

Go to your control panel > Network and Sharing Center, on the left you will see Manage wireless networks. I suggest to delete all networks apart from your own in this list.
