4 1/2 foot fall backwards... Basically the Wireless USB Adapter saved it...

The screen's all right, but there's alot more pressure spots...

HDD is clanky now... Is this all right?

USB Wireless shorted out.. and the whole USB port kinda started sparking when I turned it back on.... The wireless was fried itself...

The front leds are dead...

Is it fixable ? The USB plastic piece from inside broke off and the whole port itself if not slanted in around an 20 degree angle... and it sparks if you put anything inside...

You may need to replace the hard drive, and you may want to manually disconnect the USB port so it doesnt short out.

HDD lived amazingly. Works like a charm, maybe clunky at times, but I ran diagnostics on it and it's fine.

USB - It shorts, but it won't if you don't do anything to it. I was thinking of filling it with hot glue or something...

For the USB you might pop open the case... you should be able to see where it's busted, you might try a bit of a repair with a soldering iron.

yeah, thats risky business if you dont know what youre doing, but it sounds like it'll lead to another CF post titled "i soldered my HDD to my finger! what should i do now?"

sorry, i felt the need to :P
and, if i may say so myself, el oh el.

:D You mean "I soldera mi hdeedee to mi tung"

Well, the inside plastic piece is cracked out, the whole motherboard bent , and the port itself shoved inside it...

Well, that's no good. I would say at the minimum you should take it apart and see if you can't completely remove the USB port. I would be worried that you might bump it and the port might touch the mobo wrong and fry it.

Eh... it already shorted out my brand new USB Wireless adapter (new from newegg :'( and I threw the box away )

Welll... It doesn't touch, like 1/3 of a inch away... but can I just fill it with hot glue?
